- On Sunday afternoon, International Symposium on Very Large Scale PV Systems in Desert Area, “Energy from the Desert”, is planned by IEA PVPS Task VIII initiative.
- Workshop focusing Zero-Energy house, planned in participation of Scotland delegation team.
- Forum on University Initiative Project like Global COE; expected by Kyoto university, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Keio university, and probably Campus Sustainability workshop initiated by The University of Tokyo.
- Every two year's regulatory symposium of JSME, The Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers, is held at the same venue in two days during the conference. The symposium is planned by Environment Engineering party in JSME.
- Various branch conferences, initiated by academic societies such as IEC, IGA, JSME
- Forum and workshops for local citizen, planned by Yokohama City and Municipality
